Welcome to Fairweather!

A celebration of a lifelong journey filled with art, nature and creativity!

Early Beginnings: Shannon grew up in the picturesque setting of Twin Mountain, NH, with a small barn and many farm animals, while Jessop called the charming mountain town of Whitefield, NH, his home.

Teenage Connection: Fate brought Shannon and Jessop together during their teenage years, where they discovered their shared passions for the arts and the natural world, igniting a bond that would shape their future. Whether making hemp jewelry, batiking or carving they were creating and expressing themselves.

Southwest Adventure: In their late teens and early twenties, the pair embarked on an adventure to the Southwest, joining Jessop's family in Las Cruces, New Mexico, just a stone's throw from the Mexican border.

East Coast Return: College and the dream of starting a family eventually led them back to the East Coast, setting the stage for the next chapter of their journey.

Creative Pursuits: After welcoming their daughter Fiona, Jessop began his design career at Harrison Publishing House in Littleton, NH, while Shannon occasionally taught painting classes and lent her artistic talents to illustrating children's books.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Their entrepreneurial journey began when they acquired the old Fairweather residence and Antique Shop in Whitefield, NH, marking the start of a series of exciting ventures.

Expanding Horizons: After nearly a decade at Harrison Publishing House and after having their son Rowan, they took a bold step by purchasing the Littleton Sign Company and transforming the old Antique Shop into its new home. Shannon continued her artistic endeavors, painting any sign that needed her handiwork, illustrating and crafting stunning pencil portraits.

The Birth of Fairweather: Eventually, they decided to sell the sign company and set out on a fresh endeavor - Fairweather. With nearly four decades of combined experience, Fairweather has become our creative haven, where we collaborate, paint, design, and illustrate.

Our journey is a testament to our love for creativity, the arts, and our trust in the joy of the Universe experiencing itself. Each chapter has brought new opportunities, experiences, and creativity. We invite you to join us on this exciting adventure with Fairweather, our collective expression!
